I began my career at small Advertising and Design agencies in New Hampshire and wore many hats: copywriter, client handholder, and coffee runner. I wrote for advertising, event promotions and public relations while strategizing and promoting products and brands for consumer and business-to-business clients. When my family moved to Rhode Island, I went client-side as Advertising Manager at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI and led communications efforts for several multi-platform product launches as well as directed the launch of their first-ever website way back when. I struck out on my own in 1996, delivering marketing insight and strategic copy in all media. With a wide variety of clients, I love learning about new industries and businesses and using my skills to help businesses grow and succeed. When I'm not writing, I'm sailing Narragansett Bay, the East Coast islands and the Caribbean.
